Historical Sites in London

Now there are literally 1000s of great places to visit when you vacation in London. Visit any of them if you simply want to have a fun trip. But you can make your trip to London both fun and educational at the same time.

I assume you have already found a place to stay and now you’re about to hit the town. If you’re visiting London specifically to see historical tourist sites, there are 100s but I would recommend the following, especially if you have only a short time to spend when you vacation in London:

Buckingham Palace

A visit to London would be incomplete if you do not visit Buckingham Palace. Whether you go to witness the changing of the guard or to go on a tour inside the palace, you will enjoy either and your experience in London will be complete.

The Globe Theater

You don’t have to be a Shakespeare aficionado to enjoy Romeo and Juliet or some other play at the home of William Shakespeare’s original productions. This is a must visit historic site to visit in London.
