I’ve been listening to a lot of Foreigner lately and wanted to check out some of their less popular albums to see if I could find a couple deep album cuts to get hooked on. While I like this album better than their 1994 effort, it’s not the best selection of songs. However, it is no where as bad as this reviewer makes it out to be.
We all long for the days when Kevin Dubrow was alive. We all long for more songs like “Metal Health,” “Cum On Feel the Noize,” and “Mama, Weer All Crazee Now.” That version of Quiet Riot no longer exists. What remains is drummer Frankie Banali, guitarist Alex Grossi (joined 2004), bassist Chuck Wright (joined 1985) and new vocalist Seaan Nicols ooops, I mean, James Durbin.
In the best way, this album from Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie, with Mickfleetwood on drums and John McVie on bass, is just what you’d expect: It’s a latterday Fleetwood Mac album without Stevie Nicks.
